PEER COUNSELLING AND ITS IMPORTANCE

                          A Peer counseling is a helping process that involves one-on-one interaction or interaction between members of a group, who have several things in common.

The group contains students and is headed by a peer counselor. They talk about day to day life, their likings, academic-related issues, thoughts exploration, and also handling emotional issues.

Researches claim that peer influence can be more effective than teacher -learner reationships ,and schools that use peer to peer approaches show success in establishing and nurturing  postive  relationships and a conductive school environment .
